Let Silver and Strings, a flute and harp duo, provide the perfect music for your wedding, reception, anniversary, party or other special occasion. For over 15 years, Silver and Strings has provided the perfect background music in venues such as La Caille, Heritage Gardens, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and other fine reception centers as well as at Sundance, Deer Valley and other resorts in Utah and the intermountain West. The harp’s lush, elegant sound and the flute’s clear, singing quality combine to create a relaxing and romantic atmosphere for any event. Silver and Strings performs a wide variety of elegant music including classical, wedding, popular, film, new age, Irish, Broadway, and folk. Individually, Harpist Janet Peterson and flutist Fred Hughes have performed with the Utah Symphony, Ballet West, Utah Opera and Josh Groban, as well as recording film and TV soundtracks. They have provided music at private parties for the cast of “Touched by an Angel” as well as events for President Gordon B. Hinckley and Robert Redford.
